Dear Camp Eberhart Alumnus, Friend, Supporter:
A new year is upon us, and I want to thank all of you that have helped and supported the Camp Eberhart Alumni Association throughout the years. Camp Eberhart's 2011 summer was one of the best summers in it's history. Most of the cabins throughout the summer were full. “ALL” of the cabins had laughter, energy, fun and most importantly, smiles coming from them every day. Memories and friendships were being made, that as many of you know, last a lifetime.
Why did camp do so well in 2011? Some of it has to do with you - an Alumni or Trusted Friend of Camp EB. Due to your donations and work weekend efforts, Camp looked better than it has in - well - forever.
What are the plans for 2012? Your Alumni Association, with the help of all those Alumni and Friends, is going to "replace" one of the most visible buildings on the camp waterfront - Buckets of Blood! We can't save the structure, it's just too far gone. So, we plan on rebuilding "Buckets" around the existing fireplace. We will need everyone to help though. This project will not be inexpensive. So the more people we have helping, the better the building. We have asked many of the former staff that had stayed on Buckets to help - and they have gone beyond what we expected. A large group was formed to offer the following - they will match dollar for dollar all donations given to the Alumni Association for this project. That means we really want them to pony up some serious cash. So please, won't you help? Pledge or send us your contribution today. Send you donation to:
