When you make a general donation to camp, those funds are used wherever they are needed most to meet our organizational and operational needs. You may indicate on your Paypal donation if you would like your contribution to be designated to a specific fund.

MAKING DONATIONS TO CAMP EBERHART
Your donations are used to improve every part of YMCA Camp Eberhart and there are several ways for you to contribute. When you designate a fund for your donation, 100% of your donation is used for that purpose.
DESIGNATED FUNDS:
- Alumni Association:
The Alumni Association helps camp in many different ways. They buy horses and generators, plants and computers. Our Alumni allow us to be flexible and provide for camp's special needs.
- Campership Fund: Gifts
to this fund allow disadvantaged youth the chance to come to camp for a week!
- Chapel Fund: Our chapel is a sacred and special place and we are in
constant need of maintaining its beauty and accessiblitity. Your donations make sure it
continues to serve the needs of both campers and locals alike.
- Equestrian Fund: Funds collected are used for multiple purposes including our current project, the Stella Trench Indoor Riding Arena. We are close to our goal
of $60,000, but we are still short. If you rode at camp, and wish
to help our program expand into a new dimension, please donate today.
- Obenchain Lodge Fund: These
funds are used to maintain Obenchain Lodge. Named for long-time friend of camp - Roland Obenchain - Obenchain Lodge recently
had a face-lift, but is still in need of some work to the apartments that are
in the front of the building. These apartments house the full-time staff who
work at camp and need to be kept in excellent condition to show prospective and current employees that we value their work and commitment.
- Lazy W Fund: This fund was
established to preserve the Lazy W Cabin, named for the Wiseman family - a true EB legacy. Located next to the old entry gate into camp, this building is rented and used by Alumni and friends of camp.
From an historical standpoint, the building was originally constructed from
two of the original cabins that used to be located on the waterfront during
the '30s and '40's.
- Program Fund: This fund is
used to raise monies to improve the program areas around camp. Not only do we
need to constantly upgrade and repair our program areas, we are always buying
supplies for campers use. These funds are always in constant need.
- Summer Contributions: This
fund was set up to accept funds for general use for summer camp.
- Robert L. Oare Jr. Fund:
"Robbie" Oare was a long-time camper, staff member and friend to many of us at
camp in the '50s and '60s. A huge fan of Camp EB, Robbie left a legacy of
stories and smiles behind when he died in 2004. Monies contributed
to this fund will be used in the Robert L. Oare Jr. Infirmary.

Emanuel, the Camp Director.

All of our programs are in need of program-related items ranging from art supplies to sporting goods. New and gently-used goods are always appreciated and put to good use. Please think of us when you're Spring-cleaning...you'll be amazed at what we can do with what you think is junk! We appreciate your help!
Donate your memorabilia!
Your old pictures, yearbooks, letters and other memorabilia are valuable to us too! Please scan them or send them in and we will scan and return them to you. Write down your memories of camp for alumni and future campers to read - you are a part of the reason camp is here today and we love to hear how your experience at Camp EB impacted your life.
