WINTER CAMP
Ahhh. A week of Camp Eberhart just when it's needed the most.
Beat the winter blues by coming to camp. Held every winter between
Christmas and the New Year, Winter camp is a week filled with
winter activities like, cross country skiing, snow tubing, games,
campfires, carnivals, seeing old friends, and making new ones.
The camp is even documented with a newspaper and a movie! Campers
can even enjoy a day of downhill skiing at Swiss Valley Ski
area. No need to be an expert, lessons are available for beginners.
If you've never experienced Eberhart in the winter, make sure
you register this year. It's a week not soon to be forgotten.
It's a great chance to meet up with your summer camp friends
and counselors. And if you can't come for the whole week, you
can register by the day!
SPRING BREAK DAY CAMP
Spring Break Day Camp is held during the first week in April
to coincide with local schools' Spring Breaks. The camp is held
from 7am to 7pm, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served everyday.
Day camp is open to children ages 5-12.
Campers get to participate in educational and recreational
outdoor activities, led by our well-trained Outdoor Education
staff members. From tracking animals in the woods, learning
survival skills, and understanding animal adaptations to canoeing,
singing, and archery, there is never a dull moment at Camp Eberhart's
Spring Break Day Camp.
ASTRO CAMP
While not technically a Year-round Specialty Camp, AstroCamp is
a great part of our summer program. It is one
of this NATION'S premier programs for young campers. The unique
AstroCamp program is designed for boys and girls ages 10 and up.
The mind of a 10-year-old is curious and eager to discover. They
are ready to begin the great adventure of exploring the universe
with the endurance to stay up after dark, stargazing and telescoping.
10 is a great AGE to start, and ASTRO Camp is the best place to
start this subject learning!
